- Vintage Virginia Wine and Food Festival, June 2-3, 2018, Centreville
Held at Bull Run Park Special Events Center, this annual event features the Commonwealth’s best wine, food and music. Vintage Virginia has offered an opportunity to taste from nearly half of Virginia’s homegrown wineries, from the oldest and the largest to the smallest boutiques.
- Broad Appetit, June 3, 2018, Richmond
This festival is a foodie paradise featuring the best local restaurants Richmond has to offer – all at $3 a plate, $5 including dessert.
- The Horse and Hound Wine Festival, June 14, 2018, Bedford
Known as Virginia’s most unique festival and held on the grounds of Johnson’s Orchards, this event showcases some of the state’s finest wines with horse and dog races as the primary attraction.
- Veg Fest, June 23, 2018, Richmond
The 16th annual festival will feature live music, delicious food from over 100 vendors, cooking demonstrations and goodies to educate on many healthful and humane aspects of a vegan lifestyle.
- Virginia Craft Brewers Fest, Aug. 18, 2018, Charlottesville
This annual event held at IX Art Park showcases more than 100 Virginia craft breweries and their award-winning beers to thousands of craft beer lovers. This year’s highlights include Dirt Farm Brewing, Fair Winds, New District Brewing Company, Stone Brewing and more.

- 50th Annual Shenandoah Valley Music Festival, July – Sept. 2018, Orkney

- Red Wing Roots Music Festival, July 13-15, 2018, Mt. Solon
This 6th annual family-friendly festival encompasses the state’s great outdoors, with close access to great hiking and fishing, bike trails in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, and live performances from national and regional bands.
- FloydFest, July 25-29, 2018, Floyd
Held annually, this five-day festival is filled with magic, mountains and funky eclectic music. This year’s lineup includes Foster the People, Jason Isbell, The 499 Unit and more.
- LOCKN’ Festival, Aug. 23-26, 2018, Arrington
The four-day music festival puts an emphasis on the outdoors, camping and outdoor activities. This year’s stellar performances include Dead & Company, Matisyahu and Sheryl Crow for a once-in-a-lifetime artist collaboration in the beautiful setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
- American Music Festival, Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2018, Virginia Beach
Sounds of rock, jazz, country, blues, R&B and much more will flood the oceanfront for three sun-filled days over Labor Day Weekend. The festival brings an assortment of national, regional and local acts together for an unforgettable time.
